About Moeicons

Handcrafted SVG Icons, Not AI-Generated Icons

Moeicons draws and checks its SVG icons individually. Handcrafting is not a rejection of tools; it means a person with clear standards makes the final decisions about geometry, rhythm, and engineering quality.

The value of handcrafting is in the details

Handcrafted work allows each icon's balance, whitespace, corners, endpoints, and visual weight to be considered. Two icons can share a 24x24 viewBox while needing different optical sizing and stroke decisions; one automatic recipe cannot reliably handle every case.

Common UI engineering problems with AI-generated icons

AI-generated icons can introduce inconsistent stroke widths, drifting corner radii, misaligned guides, overly complex paths, and unstable visual centres within the same set. A single image may look attractive, yet feel wrong when placed in buttons, lists, and dense navigation.

From visual design to maintainable SVG

Moeicons checks path count, alignment, stroke endpoints, fill relationships, and scaled appearance while keeping one semantic icon recognisable across style groups. The result is easier to colour with CSS, reuse in components, and adapt to themes and responsive interfaces.

Why Moeicons stays human-drawn

Icons are part of a UI's language, not decoration alone. Moeicons handcrafts the set so 5,000+ icons can work together with a consistent rhythm, clear meaning, and predictable behaviour in code.
