What is Moeicons?
Moeicons is an icon library built around semantic IDs and consistent geometry. The same icon name is reused across styles, so the meaning of an icon does not change when the visual style does.
A shared grid and shared names
Every icon is drawn on the same 24×24 grid, and the same semantic ID exists in each style group. A UI that uses ui-search keeps the same import name when the project switches from the outline group to the solid or coloured group.
- 554 icons per style group.
- One semantic ID reused across style groups.
- Outline families use round stroke caps and joins.
Free and commercial resources
Four style groups are Free and available without an account: moe-outline, moe-lite-outline, moe-solid and moe-colored. The remaining groups — moe-3d-metal, moe-duotone, moe-pixel-lite-outline, moe-pixel-outline, moe-pixel-solid and moe-sticker — are unlocked by a one-time Pro license.
Vector style groups are delivered as SVG. The 3D metal Pro style is delivered as PNG and WebP bitmaps at 128, 256 and 512 pixels, with no SVG.
The same assets, several delivery paths
The published moe-icons package exposes React and Vue components for the Moe Outline set, plus Vanilla usage. The website offers per-icon SVG downloads for every Free group. The CLI installs the icons you select and generates typed local components for React, Vue or Vanilla.
A VS Code extension for completion and diagnostics of CLI-generated exports is in development and not yet published to the marketplace.
